There I go, turn the page
You know, it's been a very long while since I've posted something on here that's actually meaningful in one way or another. Why? Lack of motivation. Lack of desire to actually have my thoughts out there? I don't actually know. But whatever. Sometimes the random ranting about what goes on in my life, what goes on in my mind, something completely mundane, or something else entirely. So I suppose first things first, the random junk that's happened as of late. My father is back for a while, not sure how long, I think 2 weeks, but I don't know for certain. I'm suspended from studies, most likely going to transfer into a different program if I can get into it. Looking into psychology or journalism right now.
The random bullshit that I spew from the depths of my mind onto paper, onto the internet, wherever really. I tend to write it wherever depending on how I feel at the time. Mostly, I would much rather put it on pen and paper, but every now and then I get the impulse to type instead. I tend not to care about the content, it is the act of doing it that I'm usually in for, not the end result. Listening to some Shinedown at the moment too, I do so like that band. Celldweller and Shinedown, those have been my music choices as of late. Now, if you haven't heard both of these bands, you should take a listen. Celldweller is an industrial/metal band whose sound actually reminds me of something like a cross between Orgy and Metallica. It's not a great comparison really, but nonetheless, I do like those 2 bands too, so it shouldn't be too hard to see why I enjoy listening to Celldweller. Shinedown...well, anyone who knows me probably has heard me preach Shinedown at one point or another. Versatile band, who proved from their Leave a Whisper album that they could do songs that were raw and just hit the spot hard. With their Us and Them album, Shinedown proved that they could do more than just the single style of music and are most likely a band that will have some longevity if they keep at it. Yes, I like music, so sue me. There we go, changed the CD. Playing Leave a Whisper now.
It's amusing for me to go down my MSN list and look at the people who actually talk to me on a somewhat regular basis. I can count the list on one hand. Of course, that isn't exactly a bad thing, it's just irksome how only 2 people on my list will actually initiate conversation unless they're looking for something, then suddenly, people are talking to me. Such is life, such is people. I don't particularly care one way or the other really. People will do as they are prone to do, I am not one to say what they should, can or can't do. They will do as they so choose and so long as their decision does not affect me, I shall be impartial to it.
So what am I doing now? same thing as I was before. Reading course information, listening to music. I think I'm done posting for now.
